Truck Driver CDL A Local Transfer

Position Overview

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Springfield, MA. This role offers weekly pay, 24/7 roadside maintenance, and a safe, rewarding driving career.

• Safely drive a commercial vehicle while complying with safety and DOT regulations, undergoing continuous training, and providing excellent customer service.
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards.
• Maintain accurate records and logs, and perform other tasks as assigned.

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass a Ryder drug test.
• Pass a Ryder background and motor‑vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last three years.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.
• Provide a valid Class A CDL and required endorsements.
• Class A driving experience in a tractor‑trailer or comparable vehicle:

• Medical, dental, and vision coverage after 30 days.
• 80 hours paid time off in the first year, effective Day 1 (use it or get paid).
