Mobile Diesel Mechanic

Prestige Fleet Services is a rapidly growing fleet maintenance network providing on-site truck and trailer repair services.

• Perform repairs and inspections on Class 6‑8 trucks and trailers including brakes, diagnostics, A/C systems, electrical systems, engine components, exhaust systems, after‑treatment systems, lift‑gates, tires, etc.
• Schedule and oversee all maintenance procedures, including preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Repair or replace vehicle/trailer components.
• Open and close repair orders on a company‑issued device.
• Obtain parts from local vendors and manage inventory on the service truck.
• Accurately complete DOT forms and all other required documentation in a timely manner.

• Minimum of 5 years diesel and trailer repair experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work extended or irregular hours, including weekends and holidays when needed.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Self‑motivated with excellent organization and planning skills.
• Experience using a computer/tablet for electronic processing of work orders (adding labor hours, updating statuses).
• At least 2 years performing annual federal inspections and brake inspections.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must possess proper tools.

• High school education or equivalent.
• Certifications are a plus.
• Welding experience.
• CDL a plus.

• Work outdoors and under extreme weather conditions.
• Exposure to extreme heat, cold, and humidity.
• Must be able to meet all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
