Drives a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate local, over-the-road routes to deliver food and related products to customers safely and on time;
Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections according to DOT regulations and reports safety issues;
Unloads products at customer locations, secures freight, and obtains customer signatures; collects payments when required;
Completes required delivery paperwork and maintains accurate hours-of-service logs per federal and company requirements;
Communicates professionally with customers and coworkers to ensure questions are answered accurately and promptly
