Parts Warehouse Lead

Hale Trailer Brake & Wheel, Inc is a multi-location, full-service trailer dealership with an immediate opening at its Springfield, MA parts warehouse. The ideal candidate is a service-oriented with experience in heavy duty truck and trailer parts or a related industry.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the smooth operations and efficient functioning of the warehouse with minimal supervision.
• Perform receiving tasks, unload, unpack, examine, sort, and put away inventory, reject damaged items, record shortages/overages and correspond with shipper to rectify changes.
• Accurately and efficiently pull and package customer orders.
• Maintain accurate files for documentation in a manner consistent with company standards.
• Perform Shipping tasks, determine methods of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates;
  Affix shipping labels and/or other records on packaged carton.
• Manage and maintain vehicle maintenance protocol schedule.
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace.
• Adherence to Company safety program.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Preferred candidate has at least one year experience in a lead role.
• Must lift and carry up to 70 pounds.
• Must be committed to a high level of customer service and satisfaction.
• Must present a professional, positive, results oriented, problem-solving attitude.
• Must be able to work independently, or as part of a team.
• Must have good written and oral communication skills.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment and multi-task.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Forklift experience required.
• Must pass a standard pre-employment drug test and DOT physical.
