Cost Accountant – St. Louis (Manufacturing)
Our client is a dynamic and growing manufacturing company in St. Louis. They are seeking a Cost Accountant with 2+ years of plant-level cost accounting experience. This role will support key financial operations and partner closely with plant leadership to drive performance and improve cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze product costs, manufacturing variances, and operational performance
- Support month-end close, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Maintain and monitor inventory controls and costing accuracy
- Partner with operations to identify cost savings and process improvements
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and standard cost updates
