We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Assistant to join our team. This position is primarily responsible for supporting the Accounts Receivable process while providing administrative assistance to the Accounting Supervisor. The ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities- Process and reconcile incoming customer payment remittances.
- Monitor customer payment portals and retrieve payment information.
- Perform daily accounting tasks using Epicor and Quick Books Online.
- Prepare and maintain the Accounts Receivable Aging Report.
- Send weekly customer statements and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Research and resolve customer payment disputes.
- Assist with maintaining customer payment terms and account information.
- Process and distribute daily incoming mail.
- File accounting documents accurately and maintain organized records.
- Assist with front desk coverage as needed.
- Monitor office supplies and update inventory needs.
- Assist with maintaining a clean and organized break room.
- Provide general administrative and accounting support to the Accounting Supervisor.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1–3 years of accounting, accounts receivable, or bookkeeping experience preferred.
- Experience with Quick Books Online is preferred.
- Experience with ERP systems (Epicor experience is a plus).
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
