Senior Tax Accountant

Senior Tax Accountant | Springfield, MO / Fayetteville, AR

Salary: $80,000 – $90,000 | Hybrid

Abacus!, a partner firm of Current, is looking for an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our growing Traditional Tax team in Springfield, MO or Fayetteville, AR.

We’re looking for professionals with:

• 5+ years of public accounting tax experience
• At least 1 year of supervisory or team leadership experience
• Experience preparing and reviewing complex individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns
• Strong tax compliance, tax planning, and tax research experience
• Experience managing tax engagements from planning through completion
• Strong client-facing experience, ideally working with high-net-worth business owners and their entities
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• CPA and/or Master’s degree preferred
• Experience with Ultra Tax, Quick Books/QBO, and Advance Flow is a plus

This is a great opportunity for an experienced tax professional who enjoys taking ownership of engagements, working directly with clients, and mentoring Staff Accountants and Interns while continuing to grow toward management.
