The RoleWe are seeking a warm, organized, and dedicated professional to join our team as a Receptionist & Administrative Supportperson. As the first point of contact for our organization, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment for the families, educators, and community partners we serve.
Key Responsibilities- Greeting & Client Relations:
Serve as the friendly face of LDA, greeting clients and visitors upon arrival and ensuring they feel supported. - Communication Management:
Manage a multi-line phone system, directing calls to the appropriate team members and providing general information about our services. - Data Entry & Records:
Maintain accurate records in our database, ensuring that client information and contributions are tracked with precision. - Mailing & Outreach:
Assist with large-scale mailings, including our annual reports, trivia night invitations, and seasonal newsletters. - General Administration:
Provide essential support to our leadership and program teams through filing, document preparation, and office organization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and empathetic demeanor.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and a comfort level learning new database software. Proficiency on Macs.
- Experience with multi-line phone systems.
- Good work ethic.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
