The Role

We are seeking a warm, organized, and dedicated professional to join our team as a Receptionist & Administrative Supportperson. As the first point of contact for our organization, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment for the families, educators, and community partners we serve.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greeting & Client Relations:
    Serve as the friendly face of LDA, greeting clients and visitors upon arrival and ensuring they feel supported.
  • Communication Management:
    Manage a multi-line phone system, directing calls to the appropriate team members and providing general information about our services.
  • Data Entry & Records:
    Maintain accurate records in our database, ensuring that client information and contributions are tracked with precision.
  • Mailing & Outreach:
    Assist with large-scale mailings, including our annual reports, trivia night invitations, and seasonal newsletters.
  • General Administration:
    Provide essential support to our leadership and program teams through filing, document preparation, and office organization.
Qualifications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and empathetic demeanor.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and a comfort level learning new database software. Proficiency on Macs.
  • Experience with multi-line phone systems.
  • Good work ethic.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • A commitment to the mission and values of St. Louis LDA.
