Job Description

Lead the clerical operations of the Food and Nutrition Services Department. Under the general supervision of the Administrative Director, plan, direct, implement, and lead the secretarial staff of the office. Emphasize anticipating, avoiding, and correcting problems, and provide direction, training, and leadership to employees. Assist the Administrative Director with research and special projects. Possess extensive knowledge of all office functions.

Education

Required:

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience

Required:

5+ years experience in a busy office setting.

Skills
  • Proficient in spreadsheet and typing skills.
  • Knowledge of specific software to the job.
  • Able to multitask and communicate effectively, clearly and with tact.
  • Excellent telephone skills – able to handle 80-100 calls/day.
  • Prefer knowledge of software specific to job.
