What You’ll Do
- Perform data entry and provide general administrative and clerical support.
- Manage and respond to daily email requests related to account transactions in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with account managers regarding routine account issues, updates, and inquiries.
- Prepare, review, and process documentation in a paperless environment for U.S. Customs and other government agency releases.
- Review and verify import entry documentation for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
- Analyze documentation to confirm Other Government Agency (OGA) declarations and complete required filings as necessary.
- Maintain, organize, and update records related to client transactional activities.
- Prepare and submit Import Security Filing (ISF) entries in a paperless format in compliance with U.S. Customs requirements.
- Develop, document, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying process enhancements and efficiencies.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Industry experience and Cargowise experience is helpful.
- Basic understanding of Customs Process
- Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge.
- Be able to work in a fast pace, high volume, high demand environment
