The Distribution Coordinator supports the ministry of Convoy of Hope (CoH) by supporting the Distribution/Fulfillment team. The position will provide support for inventory management and COH program initiatives for outbound gifts‑in‑kind (GIK). Additionally, the position will assist project coordination and reporting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Assists with obtaining all necessary logistics information, completing necessary paperwork, creating bills of lading, and assisting in tracking bills of lading for third‑party shipments.
- Coordinating various projects including but not limited to CHEP pallets.
- Bills of lading.
- Special offers.
- Processes bills of lading invoices.
- Assists with weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting of key data as defined by the Senior Director – Distribution.
- Daily follow‑up with special projects and general follow‑up for the Distribution team (Fulfillment & Warehouse).
- Seek and research information for new partners and avenues for GIK distribution.
- Monitors and maintains the Supply Chain Inbound & Outbound Board operations.
- Fulfills all other duties as assigned.
- One to two years’ experience in fulfilling administrative tasks.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong Mac or PC proficiency and working knowledge of Google Workspace and Microsoft Office, with the ability to quickly learn Warehouse Management Systems.
- Excellent phone skills with strong interpersonal communication and relational skills.
- Ability to positively contribute to team projects, cooperate with team members, and assist supervisors in planning and evaluation.
- Excellent written communication skills for creating, editing, and proofreading correspondence.
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally on an infrequent basis.
- Strong organizational skills, with detail orientation and follow‑through required.
- Ability to multi‑task, solve problems, and manage deadlines.
- Demonstrated skills in sound judgment, compliance, relationship‑building, organization/structure, and development of processes.
