Payroll Coordinator

• Accurately enter and maintain employee schedules and payroll data to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
• Work with nurse leaders to ensure pay codes and differentials are applied according to organizational policy.
• Support unit nurse leaders to ensure accurate schedules, roles, and pay differentials are entered.
• Support multiple departments within inpatient nursing.
• Provide reports and data mining as assigned on department‑specific benchmarks.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Preferred:
  Associate’s Degree in accounting, finance, or related healthcare field

• 1 year experience in the clerical field or payroll/scheduling/timekeeping role

• Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, typing skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Problem‑solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot payroll and scheduling issues
