Client Delivery Specialist (Commercial Litigation)Role Overview
Serves as the primary operational partner for assigned attorneys, managing workflow, coordinating cross‑functional support, and reducing administrative and project‑management burden. Responsible for matter execution, communication, and coordination across internal teams.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Workflow Management- Manage full lifecycle workflow for assigned attorneys.
- Anticipate needs, prioritize tasks, and resolve administrative challenges independently.
- Track deadlines, milestones, and deliverables; maintain status updates and project plans.
- Handle special projects and use workflow software to manage assignments.
- Prepare new‑matter forms, request conflict checks, and open files.
- Coordinate intake and engagement processes and maintain documentation.
- Track alternative fee arrangements and matter budgets.
- Partner with billing teams on time entry, inquiries, and collections.
- Manage client communications and sensitive information.
- Serve as liaison between attorneys, clients, and internal departments.
- Manage attorney inboxes, prioritize communications, and draft responses.
- Maintain contacts, CLE records, and memberships.
- Handle mail, faxes, scheduling, travel arrangements, and general office tasks.
- Maintain confidentiality and remain composed under pressure.
- Prepare, edit, and proofread legal documents and presentations.
- Manage version control, file organization, and secure document storage.
- Facilitate execution, filing, and distribution of legal documents.
- Maintain proficiency in practice‑specific procedures.
- Share knowledge, document workflows, and support team coverage.
- Delegate tasks appropriately and participate in team meetings.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows.
- Use automation and dashboards to enhance efficiency.
- Participate in technology and AI training and research emerging tools.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of professional support experience; 3+ years in legal support.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
- Strong communication, judgment, and discretion.
- Ability to manage confidential information.
- Typing speed of 60+ wpm; transcription experience preferred.
- Strengths in problem‑solving, workflow ownership, organization, accountability, and relationship management.
