Position OverviewThe Executive I position serves as a sourcing specialist for intergovernmental agreements (IGAs). This individual will process Anticipation of Litigation procurements under 30 ILCS 500/1-13(b)(7) in coordination with the IDOC Office of Legal Services, provide technical assistance on intergovernmental and litigation procurements, and coordinate compliance, documentation, and reporting for intergovernmental and litigation procurement activity. The ideal candidate would be self-motivated, task oriented, and organized.

- Under direction of the Sourcing Supervisor, serves as a sourcing specialist for intergovernmental agreements (IGAs).
- Processes Anticipation of Litigation procurements under 30 ILCS 500/1-13(b)(7) in coordination with the IDOC Office of Legal Services.
- Provides technical assistance on intergovernmental and litigation procurements.
- Coordinates compliance, documentation, and reporting for intergovernmental and litigation procurement activity.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
- Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to completion of four (4) years of college preferably with coursework in business or public administration.
- Requires one (1) year of responsible administrative experience in a public or business organization, or completion of an agency approved professional management training program.
- Requires one (1) year of responsible administrative experience in contract processing and monitoring procurement processes in a public or business organization.
