Techno Smarts has a 12 Month Contract with potential for extension/and or conversion.
OverviewThe Marketing Analyst supports sales, marketing, and product strategy through data-driven insights and market analysis. This role focuses on historical performance analysis, trend forecasting, sales and promotional evaluation, retailer analytics, and strategic planning support. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable translating complex data into actionable recommendations.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct market, industry, and sales analysis to support strategic planning and business growth
- Analyze historical performance data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities
- Develop sales forecasts for new product launches, enhancements, and ongoing initiatives
- Perform retailer analysis, including site selection modeling, distribution optimization, and sales performance evaluation
- Support promotional analysis, market segmentation, product positioning, and inventory optimization
- Maintain internal databases and develop custom reports, dashboards, and case studies
- Ensure data accuracy, quality, and integrity across reporting processes
- Collaborate with account teams and cross-functional partners to deliver insights and recommendations
- Present analysis, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to internal stakeholders
- Contribute to the development of strategic sales and marketing plans through benchmarking and industry research
- Support customer presentations and executive reporting as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field
- 3–5 years of corporate experience in analytics, marketing analysis, or related roles
- Strong analytical and statistical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power Point
- Experience with Tableau or Power BI preferred
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and collaboratively
