OverviewThe Billing Services department provides centralized billing for products and services billed to customers using the Master Card Consolidated Billing System (MCBS). MCBS supports the billing for all Master Card branded transactions, Cirrus/Maestro switch fees, assessment fees, and various other fees.
Our mission is to provide core billing services, drive billing assurance, provide value added services, and enable growth as Master Card advances commerce globally.
The Director, Business Analysis role is responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of pricing rate changes within the MCBS system. This role will report to the Vice President, Revenue Enablement and lead a team of onshore and offshore direct reports in support of the objectives.
What You’re Expected To Do- Coordinate and participate in reviews, revisions, changes, enhancements, testing, documentation, and member notification of product and pricing enhancements and/or business opportunities.
- Work closely with developers and requestors to identify data and functional requirements for the new pricing constructs.
- Ensure development objectives are accomplished; user testing is performed; and member notification is prepared in a timely fashion.
- Evaluate pricing requests to determine feasibility; work with Billing and Technology colleagues to define alternatives and recommend optimal pricing solutions.
- Prepare overall project plan; incorporate costs and tasks from the various components; ensure a successful and timely project implementation.
- Ensure methodology compliance; document problem areas and coordinate resolutions; report to management as necessary and investigate/research Master Card or industry business/technical processes.
- Coach, direct, and develop team members to achieve their goals and make positive culture contributions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or other related technical field.
- Prior Business Analyst or Project Management experience (Lean Six Sigma, Agile).
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects.
- Ability to make decisions on the fly, with a focus on retrospective views.
- Demonstrated experience influencing and aligning stakeholders to achieve goals.
- Experience working within a global, multi-national corporation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrates a positive cultural influence in support of Mastercard’s leadership principles and decency quotient.
- Ability to deliver results in a fast‑paced environment with a sense of urgency and accuracy, while meeting needs of business.
- Abide by Mastercard’s security policies and practices.
- Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the information being accessed.
- Report any suspected information security violation or breach.
- Complete all periodic mandatory security trainings in accordance with Mastercard’s guidelines.
