Client Relationship Manager
The National Insurance Producer Registry (NIPR), an affiliate of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC), is seeking a dedicated individual for the role of Account Coordinator. Together with the NAIC and the insurance industry, NIPR protects and serves insurance consumers. We are a licensing and compliance resource for insurance professionals, providing expertise, agile technical solutions, innovative tools, and data to support the changing needs of state regulators and the insurance industry.
NIPR is based in Kansas City, Missouri. This is a full‑time position which will allow a person to work remotely within the United States or hybrid in NIPR's physical office space in Kansas City, MO.
The Account Coordinator position provides operational support to direct clients and resellers by serving as the primary contact for product implementation, inquiries, and issue resolution, fostering strong client relationships through consistent service delivery and continuous improvement. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Client Operations.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the main point of contact for clients and resellers to address inquiries and resolve issues
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with client personnel to ensure satisfaction
- Guide clients through testing, implementation, and post‑launch processes to ensure successful onboarding
- Maintain detailed project documentation for implementations to support evaluation, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing
- Deliver onboarding support through virtual demonstrations, email communication, and, when appropriate, on‑site engagement
- Monitor and report trends, outcomes, and escalations using CRM tools
- Oversee account management dashboards, including support, marketing, and billing activities
- Respond to client inquiries via telephone and email, conduct business problem discovery and analysis
- Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate effective communication and problem resolution
- Safeguard confidential and sensitive information in accordance with company policies
- Additional duties as assigned
- A bachelor's degree plus three (3) or more years of related experience in client support, account management, or operational roles; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong communication and presentation skills for effective interaction with individuals at all organizational levels
- Analytical and problem‑solving skills to define issues, collect data, and draw valid conclusions
- Sound business decision‑making skills with an understanding of broader business context
- Ability to interpret technical instructions and manage both abstract and concrete variables
- Demonstrated ability to follow up with clients and deliver excellent client service
- Familiarity with data analytics, data analytic tools, and statistics
- Maintain and expand professional and technical knowledge through ongoing learning opportunities, including workshops, publications, and networking
Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% for client engagements, training sessions, seminars, and industry events.
CompensationOffer range of $75,000 to $95,000, commensurate with experience and education.
