ASSURE Inventory Service Associate (ISA) - Springfield, Missouri (1099 Contractor)

Kestra is a medical technology company that develops wearable solutions to support cardiac care. The company focuses on providing high quality, patient‑centered products that combine wearable design with proven therapies.

The ASSURE Inventory Service Associate is a temporary contractor who supports the Supply Chain Operations and Returns Team by performing patient field retrieval activities, inventory management, and couriering inventory to fittings.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Contact prescribers, caregivers and patients to schedule return services.
  • Conduct inventory management services which include cycle counts.
  • Move inventory around to bring the needed inventory to sites for fittings at hospitals, patient homes and clinics as necessary.
  • Accept assignments as necessary, which may include daytime, evening and weekend hours.
  • Travel to patient homes, hospitals and other healthcare facilities to provide retrieval services, including travel to high‑risk areas where appropriate.
  • Assist patients in packing up the Assure system and all components.
  • Review and transmit essential paperwork with the patient to retrieve the Assure garment and WCD system.
  • Manage the return of inventory, including the Assure system kits, garments and electronic equipment, and drop the Assure system at a local Fed Ex or approved Walgreens drop‑off location.
  • Coordinate and drop off retrieved equipment at Kestra preferred shipping partner(s).
  • Adhere to Pledge of Confidentiality.
  • Information regarding a patient shall not be released to any source outside the company without the patient’s signed permission. Release of information will be on a need‑to‑know basis and limited to internal use.

QUALIFICATIONS Education/Experience Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a comprehensive background check following offer of agreement.
  • Valid driver’s license in state of residence with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Reliable transportation and proof of motor vehicle insurance.
  • Knowledge of MS Office and Microsoft Teams.
Preferred
  • DME Retrieval Experience.
  • Inventory Management experience.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Minimal noise typical of an office or hospital environment.
  • Possible environmental exposure to infectious disease.
  • Extended hours when needed.
  • Kestra manufactures and provides life‑saving products regulated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and under contract with Medicare;
    Kestra maintains a drug‑free environment and testing is a condition of contracting.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Frequent phone and other business machine use.
  • Occasional bending and stooping.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds unassisted, at times from and out of vehicle.
TRAVEL
  • Frequent travel by car within the agreed geography.

Estimated Pay Range: $2,800 - $3,800 per month depending on location and experience.
