PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as primary corporate account lead for priority IDNs with targeted organized customers and decision‑makers.
- Develop and execute national account strategies across IDNs, academic medical centers, large health systems, and cancer centers.
- Lead cross‑functional engagement to improve formulary access, operational readiness, reimbursement optimisation, and financial adoption.
- Support health system and organized customer contracting strategies; collaborate with Pricing/Trade/Contracting teams.
- Identify adoption barriers and develop customised solutions aligned to customer operational and financial objectives.
- Provide strategic input on payer/provider dynamics affecting adoption and utilisation.
- Deliver compliant Pre‑Approval Information Exchange (PIE) to support awareness and planning for launches/label expansions.
- Provide FDA/compliance‑aligned value messaging; educate on reimbursement pathways, coding, and implementation planning.
- Build and present budget impact analyses, pro forma models, and economic value assessments; quantify financial and patient‑outcome impacts.
- Advise on hospital/health system revenue cycle operations (coding/billing, DRG/APC, NTAP/pass‑through, buy‑and‑bill, specialty pharmacy/medical benefit reimbursement, charge capture/claims adjudication).
- Identify reimbursement risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Partner with HUB/patient support to optimise onboarding, benefit verification, prior authorisation, financial assistance, and therapy access.
- Create national account plans (stakeholder mapping, opportunities, financial analyses, access strategies); drive performance metrics and pull‑through.
- Monitor market/policy/reimbursement trends; maintain documentation, forecasting, and reporting.
- Strong payer/provider economics knowledge (inpatient and outpatient).
- Ability to engage and influence executive stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, financial modelling, and presentation skills; cross‑functional leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA/MPH/PharmD/MS or related preferred.
- 8–12+ years in pharma/biotech/specialty pharmacy/consulting/market access.
- Experience with IDNs, academic medical centers, organised health systems, and institutional customers.
- Travel up to 50% nationally (overnights; in‑office NJ/Chicago and assigned conferences).
