Position: Inclusion Specialist (Seasonal) – Camp Cedar ledge (Pevely, MO)

Position Summary

Position Summary The Inclusion Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring that Girl Scout overnight camping programs are inclusive, accessible, and supportive for all campers. This position provides on-site and on-call assistance, collaborates with camp leadership and staff, and helps implement accommodation plans for campers with diverse needs.

This is a seasonal, summer-based role located at our outdoor overnight camp properties, where no two days look exactly the same. The Inclusion Specialist typically works approximately 20 hours per week, with schedules that may vary based on camp programming and camper needs. Flexibility is key, and your time will be spent immersed in the camp environment—supporting campers, collaborating with staff, and helping ensure every camper feels welcomed, supported, and able to fully participate.

The role requires comfort working in outdoor environments and traveling between camp locations (Camp Cedar ledge in Pevely, MO, and Camp Tuckaho in Troy, MO).

Starting pay ranges from $20–$27 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. This position is an excellent summer opportunity for paraprofessionals, special education staff, school support personnel, and others in related helping professions who are looking to earn additional income while continuing to do meaningful, purpose-driven work. If you’re energized by working outdoors, value inclusion and belonging, and want to make a tangible difference in a child’s camp experience, this role offers a rewarding way to spend your summer.
