Civil Roadway Construction Manager / Inspector

ResponsibilitiesOlsson provides construction management, administration, and observation services for public and private projects to ensure work conforms with project documents. Responsibilities include daily observation / inspection, project documentation, submittal review, design support, shop drawing review, payment application review, payroll review, and oversight for materials testing. You will interpret project specifications and plans across disciplines, inspect and coordinate construction work, coordinate schedules, verify projects are completed per the project documents, and oversee projects of varying complexity.
You will work collaboratively with experienced construction managers and engineers to drive projects to successful completion and contribute to overall quality in construction management.
You will travel to various job sites at different stages of construction and work in all types of terrain and weather conditions.

You bring to the team:
- Ability to contribute and work well on a team
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or other applicable field
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in construction observation or construction inspection
- Knowledge of MoDOT standards and previous involvement in Missouri Department of Transportation projects is preferred
- The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
- Valid driver's license with clean driving history
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule
- OSHA 10 preferred, but not required
