How You’ll ContributeAs a Traveling Superintendent, you will help us reach our strategic growth goals by supervising all phases of construction projects.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Schedule, coordinate, and supervise on-site trade employee activities during all phases of construction.
- Adhere to the project schedule.
- Effectively communicate with the project manager, architect, engineer, and other project team members to ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, and schedule.
- Monitor and enforce safety program requirements and implement corrective measures.
- Maintain positive client relationships.
- Attend and/or conduct project status and other related meetings as required and/or requested by project manager.
- Assist in estimating, reviewing subcontractor and material proposals, and developing the master schedule.
- Assist in reviewing shop drawings for key materials and finalizing as-builts, turnover, and walk-throughs for equipment and material.
This full‑time position requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience. You must have a minimum of 5 years of commercial construction experience as superintendent, computer experience, management and communication skills, advanced understanding of construction scheduling and cost control, ability to supervise large groups, ground‑up construction experience, large project experience preferred, and diverse project experience important.
Travel is required. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license in good standing.
