Heavy Equipment Operations & Management Instructor - Project Estimation Specialist
Days, M-F, On Site
Salary starts at $63,000.
Required Qualifications:
A minimum of five years of experience in the heavy equipment operations industry; as well as excellent communications, computer, and interpersonal skills. Up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations. A bachelor's degree or the willingness to earn one.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior teaching/training experience; especially in a hands-on or vocational setting; as well as five or more years of related work experience in Construction Estimation.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Strong proficiency in Excel and construction estimating software
- Solid understanding of construction means, methods, and materials
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to perform Quantity takeoffs and cost modeling.
