Project Engineer - Heavy Civil

We are with a reputable contractor to find a Project Engineer to support the successful delivery of heavy civil construction projects by partnering with Project Managers and Superintendents throughout all phases of construction. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills who enjoys coordinating project documentation, tracking progress, and ensuring projects remain on schedule.

• Prepare, track, and coordinate submittals, shop drawings, and RFIs
• Maintain project documentation, including submittal logs, RFI logs, and as-built drawings
• Monitor production on self-performed work and support project teams in meeting productivity goals
• Assist with project scheduling, status reporting, and weekly progress meetings
• Support estimating activities and project closeout, including warranty and O&M manual preparation
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure efficient project execution and timely resolution of field issues
• Perform additional project support duties as needed

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Self‑motivated team player with a strong work ethic
