Estimator- Luxury​/Custom Residential

We’re looking for an experienced Estimator to support the estimating and preconstruction process for high-end luxury custom homes in the St. Charles, MO area. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented construction professional with strong experience in estimating, takeoffs, budgeting, subcontractor bidding, cost analysis, and residential construction
.

This opportunity is with an established luxury custom residential home builder known for delivering high-quality, one-of-a-kind homes with a strong focus on craftsmanship, accurate budgeting, and client satisfaction.

• Prepare detailed estimates and project budgets for luxury custom residential projects.
• Review construction plans, specifications, scopes of work, and project documentation to develop accurate estimates.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and cost analysis for materials, labor, and subcontractor scopes.
• Solicit, review, and compare subcontractor and vendor bids to ensure accurate pricing and complete scopes.
• Develop and maintain project budgets throughout the preconstruction process.
• Track pricing, project costs, and cost changes to maintain accurate estimates.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, vendors, subcontractors, and leadership

• Identify opportunities for value engineering and cost savings while maintaining high standards for quality and craftsmanship.
• Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors
  .

• Experience in residential construction estimating or preconstruction
  , ideally within custom or luxury homebuilding
  .
• Strong experience with estimating, takeoffs, bid solicitation, bid leveling, budgeting, and cost analysis
  .
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and scopes of work
  .
• Strong understanding of residential construction costs, materials, trades, and construction sequencing
  .
• Experience working with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers
  .
• Excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
  .
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate estimates and project budgets
  .
• Ability to work on-site in the St. Charles, MO area
  .

• Custom or luxury home construction experience preferred
