School Photographer - Springfield, MO

Job Overview

Seasonal School Photographer position with JostensPIX starting July 21, 2026. Must reside in Springfield, MO or surrounding areas. No photography experience required.

• Capture genuine smiles and school memories.
• Use personal vehicle to travel to local schools for picture day events.
• Transport, set up, and take down photography equipment at school locations.
• Use photo software to organize and manage images.
• Build hands‑on photography experience in a dynamic, fast‑paced setting.

• High school diploma or GED (must be 18 +).
• Reliable, insured vehicle and valid U.S. driver’s license (public transportation not permitted).
• Willingness to start early (4 AM) and work occasional extended hours when traveling.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs of camera equipment.
• Ability to store camera equipment at home when not in use.
• Cheerful, friendly personality—especially around children.
• Comfortable working in a school environment with children of all ages and abilities.
• Strong communication, customer‑service, and technical skills.
• Comfortable working independently for smaller events after training.
• Proficiency with computers/cameras and ability to learn new programs.
• Professional grooming and appearance reflecting Jostens standards.
• Reliable cell phone and internet access.
• May be required to complete additional background/health screenings per state policy.

• Competitive pay: $18‑20 per hour.
