Description

The Studio Specialist supports the ministry of Convoy of Hope by the organization and maintenance of equipment and studio spaces, working with other members of the photo video team on pre-production and the setting up of shoots, as well as set construction and maintenance.

• A Studio Specialist helps to keep the daily operations of the photo video team running effectively and efficiently. This individual, in collaboration with other members of the team, will help to make sure that studios are prepared for scheduled shoots and that equipment stays clean and in good working order.
• Responsible for making sure the gear cage, studio spaces, and production van is clean and organized.
• Keep all video and photo equipment organized and in good repair and updated within industry standards. Manage the Itemit software for equipment inventory. Work with the Video Production Director to have equipment serviced and dispensable stocked as necessary.
• Works with the Video Production Director and other team members to make sure equipment is set up for scheduled shoots.
• Helps with pre-production on big projects. Helping to determine lighting setups, shot lists, and equipment necessary for the production.
• Attends weekly team meetings and helps with brainstorming on upcoming projects.
• Assists with post production color on some special projects as assigned.
• Works with the Video Production Director on set construction and maintenance.
• Other Duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred;
  High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of experience preferred (3 years required) working in video production with an emphasis on experience in lighting and equipment management.
• Advanced knowledge of computer editing software such as After Effects, Premiere Pro, Audition, Photoshop and Bridge. Advanced knowledge of Macintosh computer systems.
• Good analytical abilities in a media production environment. The ability to work effectively with the Video Production Director to enhance Convoy of Hopes media production quality.
• A solid working knowledge of video production.
• Good people skills. The ability to interact and get along with various types of people in a positive work environment.
• Ability to positively contribute to team projects and work with other team members.
• Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally with very little notice.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and method of transportation for pickup and deliveries.
• Attends and actively participates in COH At Home Week meetings and activities as a required responsibility to the organization and fellow team members.
• Serves as an advocate for the ministry, striving to nurture, broaden, and develop financial and other resource opportunities to support and expand organizational and program ministry.
• Positively represents the ministry of Convoy of Hope, including its mission statement and core values, to all outside constituencies.
