Customer Service Representative – St. Louis County, Missouri

Part-time: 24 hours per week

What You’ll Do

At Missouri Farm Bureau, our Customer Service Representative role serves as a reliable point of contact for members by answering questions, processing policy changes and payments, and providing clear, friendly support across phone, email, and in‑office interactions. By building strong relationships with members, collaborating with agents and team members, and proactively identifying opportunities to improve service, this role helps deliver the trusted, personalized experience that Missouri Farm Bureau is known for.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain established office hours and provide professional, friendly customer service in person and by phone
  • Greet customers, determine needs, provide information, and refer inquiries as appropriate
  • Answer and route calls, take detailed messages, and respond to customer questions promptly
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail and schedule appointments for agents
  • Maintain accurate client files, records, and office documentation
  • Receive, process, and balance daily financial transactions in accordance with procedures
  • Prepare and process insurance‑related documents, correspondence, applications, endorsements, and reports
  • Gather and input information for insurance quotes and assist with policy servicing within non‑licensed guidelines
  • Support agents, supervisors, and regional leadership with administrative and operational tasks
  • Promote Missouri Farm Bureau programs, services, and member benefits
  • Assist with membership drives, county board meetings, event planning, and volunteer activities
  • Attend required meetings and training sessions
  • Maintain a clean, organized office environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned
What You Bring
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Experience in customer service preferred.
