Traveler Service Associate – Premium
The Traveler Service Associate is responsible for handling customer interactions that route through multiple channels and delivering a best‑in‑class experience to our travelers. The role is within the Traveler and Partner Service Platform organizations, which serve customer requests across Expedia Group’s brands.
Responsibilities- Lead the resolution of traveler related issues and provide accurate and timely solutions using appropriate tools and resources.
- Research, analyze and resolve traveler issues in an accurate and timely manner while maintaining ownership of the issue.
- Provide best‑in‑class service that drives loyalty to Expedia Group’s multiple brands.
- Research and analyze data from various sources, especially GDS (Airline Computer Reservation Systems), to close traveler and supplier issues.
- Identify service problems and conduct root cause analysis while signposting possible solutions.
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with management, corporate, network, co‑workers, and partners.
- Maintain up‑to‑date Traveler Support Agent skillset and confidentiality.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; related professional experience preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in a contact center.
- Customer centric, traveler‑focused with the ability to work effectively with internal and external customers.
- Advanced analysis skills, including situational analysis and risk mitigation.
- Ability to work in high‑stress environment while managing stress professionally and without disruption to the operation, employees, or customers.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adjust communication style to customer needs.
- Strong technical proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Adaptable to change and schedule flexibility.
Salary range: $38,500.00 – $54,000.00. Potential to increase up to $61,500.00 based on performance. The role offers medical/dental/vision, paid time off, an Employee Assistance Program, wellness and travel reimbursement, and travel-related discounts.
