Job SummarySeeking a Customer Support Coordinator to provide high‑quality, quick and accurate supply chain support to ROI Members through proactive solutions and decision making. The Coordinator will handle requisition processing, daily product sourcing, vendor purchase order negotiations and placement, confirmation follow‑up, and expediting of purchase orders for products and services for the Mercy Consolidated Services Center (CSC). The Coordinator is responsible for daily customer and vendor relationships both within and outside the organization.
Responsibilities- Perform the duties of the purchasing buyer when the customer has an urgent request.
- Provide front‑line support to ROI customers regarding supply chain related issues.
- Serve as the first tier of support for other ROI teams such as Purchasing, CSC Inventory Management, CSC Operations, Transportation, Customer Pack Solutions, Capital Purchasing and Local Supply Chain.
- Coordinate the procurement of sub‑items when the vendor is out of stock by sourcing to other manufacturers.
- Enter complaints into the quality management software for Mercy and Commercial customer returns and recalls, as well as any other quality complaint.
- Coordinate the return of product from the end user to the vendor.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- One year of call center or customer service related experience preferred.
