At Expedition Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics, our dual specialty integrated care model positions us as a leader in both pediatric dentistry and orthodontics. We offer a unique blend of personalized care, a child and youth‑friendly environment, and modern treatment options tailored specifically for children and teens. With three locations across Southwest Missouri, we focus on creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere—with vibrant decor, interactive spaces, and a team trained to help young patients feel at ease during their dental visits.

• Someone with an active Missouri Dental Hygienist License.

• Comprehensive preventive care visits including dental cleanings and calculus removal.
• Educate patients (and parents/guardians) on proper oral hygiene practices and provide personalized recommendations.
• Take and develop dental x-rays to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Assist the dentist during procedures by providing necessary instruments and maintaining a sterile environment.
• Document patient information, treatment plans, and progress in electronic health records.
• Administer fluoride treatments and apply dental sealants as needed.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in dental hygiene techniques.
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow and exceptional patient care.
• Uphold infection control and safety standards to create a comfortable and secure environment for patients and staff.
