** What We’re Looking For
*** Board-certified in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds
* Active state medical license
* 2 years of post-residency clinical experience, ideally in urgent care or emergency medicine.
* Experience treating patients across all age groups
* Proficiency in minor procedures such as suturing and splinting, and in reading EKGs and X-rays
* Strong communication and listening skills
* Comfortable collaborating with advanced practice providers
** Your Role
** As a Physician at Mercy-GoHealth, you’ll independently provide a wide range of clinical services, including:
* Examining and treating patients with acute conditions
* Taking medical histories and ordering diagnostic tests
* Making diagnoses and prescribing medications
* Performing minor procedures and administering vaccinations
* Documenting patient progress and coordinating follow-up care
* Supervising and collaborating with PA/NPs, including remote supervision and credentialing support
* Working 8- or 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting
