Emergency Medicine Physician

Mercy Hospital Springfield and Lebanon is seeking an emergency medicine physician to join their dedicated and stable hospital-employed group in Missouri. Providers will enjoy a great variety of shifts across a bustling level I tertiary trauma center and a hands-on rural regional hospital. This opportunity offers high autonomy, flexible scheduling, leadership growth, and strong peer support without a partnership track.

Practice Info

• Springfield location is an 886-bed, level I tertiary trauma, and catchment hospital featuring an 80-bed emergency department and 11-bed pediatric emergency department plus PICU
• Lebanon location is a 50-bed hospital with a 19-bed emergency department and no trauma designation
• Springfield emergency department sees 80,000+ annual visits with 14 physician shifts each day
• Lebanon emergency department sees 25k-30k annual visits with three physicians shifts and one APP shift each day
• EPIC EMR used across Mercy
• Partnership with local and nearby medical schools for teaching, if desired

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on emergency medical care, critical thinking, and a variety of procedures
• Participate in teaching with local and nearby medical schools, if desired

Compensation

• Minimum of $260/hour plus wRVUs incentives
• $150,000 recruitment bonus

Shift & Schedule

• 9-hour shifts in Springfield, with 7 for patient care and last 2 for clean-up
• 14 physician shifts each day in Springfield
• 12-hour shifts in Lebanon
• Three physicians shifts and one APP shift each day in Lebanon
• Guaranteed shifts and hours
• Schedule set three months in advance with equal scheduling
