Physician - Internal Medicine Hospitalist

Location: NC

Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM-7:00 AM; coverage dates documented (Dec 25-29)

Position Overview

Provide inpatient hospitalist coverage on night shift, including admissions and overnight coverage responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient-only hospitalist coverage during night shift hours
• Manage an average of 15 patients per provider per day
• Manage approximately 4-6 admissions per night
• Provide ICU/critical care duties including ventilator management (procedures optional)
• Document care in the electronic health record (Epic)

Required Qualifications

• Board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• AHA ACLS
• Epic experience
• Availability to attend orientation the day prior to the scheduled start date
