OACAC Head Start is seeking motivated team members for the position of Head Start Preschool Lead Teacher. As the Lead Teacher, you will create a warm, welcoming classroom environment that helps children reach their highest potential while partnering with parents and your co‑teaching team to help make this happen. You will show exemplary responsive care, while demonstrating classroom management skills, lesson planning and developmentally appropriate practice.

This position provides supervision to co‑teachers and is responsible for maintaining State Licensing and Accreditation Standards as well as Federal Head Start Performance Standards. Join a team that values community and relationships!

• Minimum of Early Childhood AA/AAS degree.
