Part-Time Elementary Science Instructor

Description of Primary Duties

* Provide part-time elementary science instruction for students in grades K-6

* Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate science lessons and laboratory experiences aligned with curriculum standards

* Facilitate inquiry-based and hands-on learning experiences that encourage curiosity, critical thinking, observation, and problem-solving

* Create a positive and supportive classroom environment that promotes scientific exploration and student engagement

* Integrate STEM practices, technology, demonstrations, and collaborative learning activities into instruction

* Support the development of scientific literacy through experiments, data collection, discussion, and project-based learning

* Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student learning needs and developmental levels

* Collaborate with classroom teachers and school staff to support interdisciplinary learning connections

* Assess student learning and provide feedback regarding academic progress and skill development

* Supervise students during instructional activities and maintain appropriate classroom safety procedures for elementary science instruction
