Overview

Right At School provides local school districts before and after school extended day programs with a focus on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment dedicated to the success of all students! Our mission is to inspire a love of learning, support schools, and give families peace of mind by building a team of mission‑driven individuals who foster safe, engaging experiences for children.

Location

Candidates should be open to working at any of our schools located within the Pattonville School District. We cannot guarantee preferred school assignments as our hiring needs are determined by the needs of the programs.

Pay Rate and Schedule

Pay Rate: $21‑26 per hour (dependent on education and experience)

Schedule:

Monday‑Friday, 6:30 AM‑8:45 AM and 3:00 PM‑6:00 PM

Responsibilities
  • Ensure safety and joy standards are met by supporting a clear understanding of roles and responsibilities among staff; keep site documents and licensing standards up to date; outline attendance protocols, behavior policies, and safety procedures; coach staff to maintain team cohesion and productivity.
  • Consistently support and report on safety protocols to ensure the well‑being of all participants and identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Engage meaningfully with families, client partners, peers, and children to build effective communication and relationships; respond promptly to emails, texts, and inquiries during program hours; collaborate regularly with the Area Manager to support program goals.
  • Maintain accurate records for student check‑ins and check‑outs and ensure “name to face” attendance procedures are completed per company policy.
  • Implement daily activities, fitness fun, and curriculum while providing a safe and engaging environment.
Qualifications
  • Experience working among competing priorities and delivering quality service to all stakeholders.
  • High school diploma or GED completed.
  • Experience working with children and knowledge of unique and special needs.
  • Coursework or training in child development and/or a related field.
  • Strong communication skills—oral, written, and visual—with adults and children.
  • Ability to model professional standards when dealing with students, parents, staff, and community.
  • Familiarity with Google technology software or willingness to learn.
MO Requirements
  • Center Director Certification from Missouri’s Department of Secondary Education (DESE) office; candidates without this certification cannot be considered.
  • Willing to undergo background check, including Family Care Safety Registry registration, screening, and a clear eligibility letter from the state.
  • First Aid and CPR in‑person certification.
  • Cleared tuberculosis test.
  • 18+ years of age.
  • Proof of high school diploma/GED required.
