Daily ResponsibilitiesAs a Full Time Lead Educator, your daily responsibilities will revolve around creating and delivering engaging educational programs for visitors of all ages. You’ll lead interactive presentations, workshops, and guided tours, ensuring participants leave with a deeper understanding of wildlife conservation.
Responsibilities also include collaborating with a diverse team to develop innovative curricula aligned with our mission and core values, managing educational materials, coordinating volunteer efforts, and evaluating program effectiveness to continually enhance our offerings.
Maintaining a welcoming and informative environment, providing exceptional customer service to guests, and fostering a culture of curiosity and inquiry are essential. Your ability to adapt to the needs of diverse audiences will promote a high-performance atmosphere that inspires learning and stewardship.
Guest Experience Lead Educator RoleUnder the leadership of the Director of Conservation Education and Education Assistant Manager, the Guest Experience Lead is responsible for developing and facilitating guest engagement programs for the Johnny Morris Foundation. This includes training and supporting education staff, teen volunteers, and adult volunteers in interpretative techniques and programs throughout the facility, organizing docent volunteers, WOLF job program, dive shows, in-house conservation events, and more.
The Coordinator will also develop and lead training experiences and evaluations for the guest engagement team members who lead interpretive programs.
