Part-time Student Success Specialist

Missouri State University is hiring a Part-time Student Success Specialist to support Greenwood Laboratory School's mission by fostering a positive, student-centered environment. The role involves building strong relationships with students, collaborating with faculty and administration, supporting student development and school culture, and assisting with student discipline and behavioral interventions.

• Build and maintain positive relationships with students to support their academic and personal growth.
• Collaborate with faculty, counselors, and administration to address academic, behavioral, attendance, and social-emotional challenges.
• Support teachers and administrators with behavioral and disciplinary issues through coaching and restorative practices.
• Provide supervision during school activities including passing periods and lunch.
• Communicate effectively with families about student support, behavior, and school policies.
• Assist with attendance monitoring and interventions aimed at improving student engagement.
• Maintain documentation related to student support, discipline, and interventions.
• Master’s degree in educational administration, leadership, counseling, or related field required.
• Valid Missouri teacher or principal certification and a minimum of five years’ school experience required; administrative experience preferred.
• Proposed pay rate ranges from $36 to $42 per hour.
