Upper English Language Arts Teacher

Description: Kinetic Bridges Academy is seeking a Christian educator to teach upper-level English Language Arts in our hybrid learning environment. We are a nonprofit Christian academy partnering closely with families to provide an academically engaging, Christ-centered education. Our teachers have the unique opportunity to know their students well, build strong relationships with parents, and support students’ academic and spiritual growth. • Teach junior high and high school ELA, including literature, writing, grammar, and composition, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
• Plan engaging lessons that develop reading comprehension, critical thinking, and strong writing skills.
• Support students and parents via email on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
• Integrate biblical truth into literature and writing instruction while reinforcing Christian character.
• Create a classroom environment that is respectful, engaging, and discussion-based.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and school leadership.
• Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and school events.

• Agreement with Kinetic Bridges Academy’s Statement of Faith and a personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Literature, or a related field.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Passion for helping students grow academically and spiritually.
• Previous teaching experience in middle school or high school ELA (preferred).
• Experience in public, homeschool, hybrid, or Christian education settings (preferred).
• Experience supporting students with diverse learning needs (preferred).
• Missouri teaching certification (preferred).

• On Campus – Monday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
• On Campus – Wednesday: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.
• On Campus – Friday: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.
• Remote Support – Tuesday & Thursday:
  Planning, grading, parent communication, and student support.

• Salaried position paid bi-weekly over 12 months.
