Missouri State University is seeking Adjunct/Per Course Faculty to teach courses in the Communication, Media, Journalism & Film Department during the Summer and Fall semesters of 2026.
Position Information- Work Location: Springfield Campus
- Department: Communication, Media, Journalism & Film
- Term: Summer/Fall Semester (per course faculty only)
- Begin Date – Summer Term: 05/26/2026
- Begin Date – Fall Term: 08/10/2026
- Maximum Credit Hours per Course Faculty can Teach: 12 Credit Hours per 12 Month Period – Springfield Campus
Will teach various courses within the department, hold office hours, critique student work, return assignments in a timely manner, and submit midterm and final grades before the due date.
Minimum Acceptable QualificationsPer Course Faculty should possess a master’s degree or the equivalent professional experience in a field determined acceptable by the Dean.

Sponsorship InformationApplicants must be currently authorized to work for any employer in the United States on a full‑time basis. This position is not eligible for work visa sponsorship.
