Job Description
Minimum 1+ years special education experience required.
We are seeking a qualified and dependable Special Education Teacher who is available for the full school year starting in August for a Full Time job located near Independence, MO. This contract position is working full time, 37.5 hours per week. Candidates must be available to work on-site. In this position, the Special Education Teacher will be working with either Elementary, Middle or High school students.
Multiple different openings including self-contained classroom and inclusion classroom. Students may have challenges including Learning, Emotional or Intellectual disabilities and Autism.
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or Education with concentration in Special Education
- Must have a valid Missouri state Special Education Teacher Certificate
- Previous teaching experience is preferred
