Part-time Professional Developer; Career Pathways

Missouri State University is hiring a Part-time Professional Developer (Career Pathways). The role involves supporting the Missouri Career Pathways program by improving educators' effectiveness through aligned professional development and collaborating with various education and workforce stakeholders to enhance student achievement and readiness. This part-time position requires K-12 counseling experience and engagement with statewide educational initiatives.

• Support the Missouri Career Pathways program, a statewide collaborative initiative.
• Develop and deliver training aligned with state academic standards and local improvement goals.
• Work with school principals and leaders to evaluate and address teacher and student learning needs.
• Provide job-embedded coaching and assess progress towards learning goals.
• Prepare reports and participate in agency staff meetings.
• Master's degree in Education required.
• Minimum five years of teaching, counseling, or public school administration experience, including K-12 counseling.
• Skills needed include training development, research data reporting, presentation to adult audiences, and knowledge of assessment and instructional practices.
• Experience preferred in workforce or economic development and knowledge of relevant policies like WIOA, ESSA, and Perkins.
• Compensation at $28.72/hour in a part-time capacity averaging 20 hours per week, up to 1,000 hours annually.
