SUMMARY:

The Director of Student Development invests in initiatives that foster student belonging, spiritual formation, personal development, mentoring relationships, and holistic growth. This position works collaboratively with Student Development, Spiritual Life, Community Life, Counseling Services, Student Leadership, faculty, and campus departments to provide intentional support and mentoring opportunities for female students. The employee serves as a visible and trusted presence within the student community and helps cultivate a culture of connection, encouragement, spiritual growth, and student engagement.

The Director of Student Development reports to the Chief Operating Officer.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Student Mentorship and Care

Develop intentional mentoring relationships with students.

Meet regularly with students seeking guidance regarding personal, spiritual, leadership, relational, and vocational matters.

Facilitate student growth through coaching, encouragement, accountability, and support.

Identify students who may benefit from additional campus resources and facilitate appropriate referrals.

Provide support during significant life transitions and challenges.

Student Engagement and Belonging

Create opportunities for meaningful community building among students.

Coordinate mentoring to connect students with faculty, staff, alumni, church leaders, and community mentors.

Promote an environment where students feel known, valued, and supported.
