You'll combine leadership, technical expertise, and real-world field knowledge to help our designers create constructible stainless-steel piping systems that perform in the field—not just on a computer screen.

We are a growing company built on teamwork, continuous learning, and exceptional customer service. Our employees are our greatest resource, and we invest in their development through training, collaboration, and opportunities to grow.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Balance workloads and prioritize multiple field installation projects
  • Coach, mentor, and evaluate team members while supporting career development
  • Ensure designs are accurate, constructible, code-compliant, and ready for efficient field installation
  • Bring real jobsite experience into the design process by planning around installation sequence, material flow, staging, and field logistics
  • Maximize shop prefabrication opportunities to reduce field labor and rework
  • Lead design reviews and maintain quality standards across all projects
  • Champion the use of laser scanning, point cloud workflows, Revit, Navisworks, and other design technologies
  • Improve design standards, workflows, templates, and quality control processes
  • Evaluate and implement new technology that improves productivity and project outcomes
  • Partner with Engineering, Fabrication, Construction, Project Management, and customers throughout the project lifecycle
  • Support strategic planning, budgeting, and continuous improvement initiatives within the Design Department

Education/Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate degree in Mechanical Design, Drafting & Design, Engineering Technology, or related field required
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or related discipline preferred
  • Leadership or supervisory training preferred
  • Experience leading or mentoring technical teams
  • Strong knowledge of sanitary stainless-steel piping systems and field installation practices
  • Advanced experience with Revit, point cloud workflows, laser scanning, Navisworks coordination, Plant 3D, and AutoCAD
  • Strong understanding of fabrication methods, constructability, and applicable industry standards such as ASME BPE, 3-A, ASME Section IX, and cGMP
  • Experience coordinating multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications

Why CSI

  • Competitive compensation: $90,000-$110,000, annually.
  • Opportunity to work on specialized stainless-steel process systems across multiple industries
  • Hands-on role with direct impact on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction
  • Collaborative team environment focused on continuous improvement
  • Career growth opportunities within installation, operations, and leadership teams
  • Company culture centered on taking care of employees and customers

CSI offers a competitive benefits package including:

  • Health and wellness benefits
