The City of Springfield is hiring for the position of Plant Operator III at the Southwest Wastewater Treatment Plant (SWWTP). This role involves specialized operations and routine maintenance of wastewater treatment systems. Candidates must have two years of college training in wastewater technology or biological sciences, as well as three years of relevant experience. A Missouri Class 'C' Wastewater Operator's Certificate is mandatory.
This position works an overnight schedule every other Wednesday through Saturday from 2:30 PM to 2:30 AM.
