College Intern

Wilson & Company is looking for a College Intern focused on Transportation Engineering to join our Springfield, MO office.

As an Intern, you will perform hands‑on work to apply your classroom experience to real‑world projects and help envision your future career. You’ll be an active member of our team, working for clients on projects with experienced engineers, solving complex problems, assisting project managers, and collaborating with partners to produce clients’ visions for the future built environment.

• Civil student with an interest in transportation engineering, highway engineering, municipal roadway engineering, or drainage engineering.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong problem‑solving skills.
• Positive attitude, impeccable work ethic, highly responsible and dependable.
• Ability to work with a team under the direct supervision of a Project Engineer.
• Capacity to manage and maintain a sustainable balance between school, internship, and personal demands.
• Ability to commute to/from school to the office and work in an office environment.
• No remote work anticipated.
• Not currently sponsoring applicants for work visas.

$22.00 – $24.00 per hour, paid.
