Municipal Engineer - PE

• Perform engineering design/duties, including, but not limited to:
• Assist with the management and production of construction plans for various projects, including residential, commercial, and municipal infrastructure design.
• Proficient with reviewing/preparing alignments, water and sanitary networks, and profiles.
• Perform site visits to verify field conditions and monitor construction when directed.
• Design water quality.
• Coordinate with and mentor less tenured engineers.
• Present projects to clients, agencies, municipalities, and the general public
• Coordinating project design with outside consultants and architects.
• Communicate with clients in a professional manner.
• Coordinating project design with design team
• Performing site visits to verify field conditions and monitor construction
• Reviewing and processing contractor submittals
• Preparing site investigation and development feasibility reports
• Resolve design conflicts; perform accountability reviews
• Assist in developing project scopes and schedules
• Perform quantity takeoffs, shop drawing review and prepare bid specifications

Perform quality control reviews of design projects

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Registered Professional Engineer within the State
• Minimum 6 years of experience of water/wastewater experience
• Excellent time management skills, organizational and communication abilities
• Ability to maintain a strong sense of focus and confidence under tight deadlines and workloads
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Civil3D, and design software
