Boyd Sleep is a dependable and established business, friendly intimate, family‑owned and operated, with 44 years of experience creating quality sleep products. We sell mattresses and bedroom furniture through major retailers and directly to consumers.

We are seeking a Product Engineer to join our dynamic team. The role focuses on designing, developing, and optimizing products from concept through production, collaborating across design, manufacturing, quality assurance, and marketing.

• Product Development: Lead design, development, and refinement of products, ensuring specifications, quality, and cost targets are met.
• Prototyping and Testing: Create and evaluate prototypes with internal team and vendors, validate concepts and refine based on test results.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross‑functional teams (design, manufacturing, marketing) to align development with customer and market needs.
• Vendor Negotiations: Obtain pricing from domestic and foreign vendors for new or upgraded products.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve design and manufacturing processes for quality, cost, and efficiency.
• Documentation: Prepare engineering documentation – design specifications, technical drawings, testing reports.
• Quality Assurance: Collaborate with QA to establish testing protocols, ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
• Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely, within‑scope, within‑budget completion.
• Customer Support: Provide technical support to customers, addressing product inquiries and resolving issues.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Product Design, or related field.
• Experience: 3–5 years in product engineering or related role.
