PositionReporting to the Director of Engineering, you will work with a multidisciplinary team on the design, integration, and implementation of major tailor‑made mechanical equipment to the strictest specifications of our customers.
Responsibilities- Mechanical design of equipment (mechanisms, structures, ergonomics, machine safety).
- 3D modeling.
- Calculations and sizing of structures and mechanisms.
- Selection of commercial components with appropriate specifications.
- Development of technical documents.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in the design of structures or mechanically welded assemblies.
- Professional Engineer (PE) License.
- Knowledge of ASME standards for design and fabrication.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD and Inventor software (asset).
- Knowledge of STAAD, ANSYS, MATHCAD, S‑FRAME software (asset).
